I have requested a change to my contract. Why did I receive a notice of termination of the contract?
We can put your mind at rest: If you request a change, you receive a new contract with the desired changes. Prior to that, the old contract will be terminated. It is not possible to simply “rewrite” the contract. Depending on the type of change, the process is as follows:
- Company name change: Termination of contract; new offer to the successor; new customer number
- Change of the contract term/payment method: Termination of contract; new offer; customer number remains
- New/other music use: Termination of contract; new offer for the music use submitted; customer number remains
