• I have a case number from an older query matter. Should I use it for my new inquiry?

  No. If you have a new question, you will be issued with a new case number for it.

• Should I leave the numbers I- nnnnnn or SR- nnnnnn in my reply?

  Yes. This way, your reply will be automatically and immediately allocated to the case. That saves time and creates more transparency.

• What do [I-nnnnnn] or [SR-nnnnnn] mean in the subject line of the e-mails from mitgliederservice@gema.de?

  [I-nnnnnn] and [SR-nnnnnn] are case numbers.  A new number is issued for each case and helps that your and our emails in connection with this matter can be allocated quickly and automatically.
