GEMA DOWNLOAD adieu
GEMA has always aimed to offer its members and partners first-class services. This calls for continuous development, particularly in the digital arena. The key location for all important member features – from work declarations to the management of authorisations to detailed statements – is the GEMA Online Portal. In recent years, we have intensively expanded its wide-ranging services.
In connection with the above, in the summer of 2023 we expanded the My royalties area. Now, with the detailed statements integrated into the Online Portal, we sad goodbye to GEMA Download and replaced this service. As of now, you can find your detailed statements, your compact statements (new file format) and your summary sheet (new file format) and also further information about distributions – along with all other GEMA services – in the Online Portal (under My royalties).

Dear users,
we would like to inform you that the GEMA Download Service has been discontinued on 17 May 2024.
All files and information relating to distributions are now available exclusively in the Online Portal through My royalties and can be downloaded under My downloads.

Old formats from GEMA Download remain available in the Online Portal until the start of 2025
The distribution dated 1 April 2024 was the last time we provided detailed statements via the GEMA Download service. As of now, you can access all distribution files directly via the Online Portal.
You can now call up all distribution files directly under My downloads: Detailed statements, compact statement, summary sheet.
So that you can familiarise yourself better with the changeover, we will also provide you with the old formats ("GDF", "csv old" or "csv new" from GEMA Download) for a transitional period up to and including the distribution on 1 January 2025, also available under My downloads.
The online portal – available anytime and anywhere
To date, over 57,000 music creators have registered in the Online Portal. Feedback from GEMA members concerning the use of the Portal is very positive, and we take this as confirmation that the path we are pursuing into the future is correct and secure. If you do not yet have access to the Online Portal, we’ll show you how quickly and easily you can obtain this.
How to access the Online Portal
If you already have a login for GEMA Download, you can use this to register for the Online Portal directly. No new access details are required. If you do not yet have a login for the Online Portal, you can apply to us for a user account at any time: Here’s how to register for the Online Portal.
